Anti-Aging PRP Injections
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) anti-aging procedure means rejuvenating PRP injections of autologous cells (autologous cells are taken from the patient’s blood). It is a progressive, effective and safe method, which rejuvenates the skin and stimulates regeneration of the tissues. The result is a juvenile-looking skin!
Rejuvenating PRP injections of autologous cells are performed in order to regenerate the skin, and also for prophylactic purposes to avoid skin aging.
The result of the procedure is an improved tonicity of the skin, its elasticity and texture. This method is also useful in flattening out the facial wrinkles, lines and hollows. It is often used to correct certain types of scars. The patients, who look for a higher impact of the regeneration procedure, can combine the rejuvenating PRP autologous cell injections with the fat transfer, i.e. autologous fat injections or other aesthetic procedures.
Most often this procedure is performed in the facial, neck, and décolletage areas.

How are the rejuvenating PRP autologous cell injections performed?
During the procedure, some blood is taken from the vein. The blood is specifically treated and the platelet concentrate PRP is obtained from it. The platelet concentration in it is even 9.3 times higher than usual platelet concentration in the blood.
It has been determined that the platelets in the blood are responsible for the regeneration, and in this particular case, they are responsible for the rejuvenation of the skin and the tissue. There are various growth factors in the platelets, which start functioning as soon as the platelets are activated. These growth factors are very important in tissue regeneration and skin rejuvenation.
The growth factors emitted by the platelets activate natural skin stem cells, stimulate skin cells and foster the generation of collagen and elastin.
The performance of the procedure includes anaesthetizing of the facial skin by a topical anesthetic cream, that is why the patient hardly feels the microinjections. The prepared autologous plasma is administered with the help of a special microneedle directly into the relevant areas.
After the procedure, the facial skin may be painful and sensitive, sometimes may become swollen.
The recommendation is to start the procedures at the age of about 30, and prevent the skin from aging, i.e. prevent the formation of wrinkles, deterioration of the skin tonicity and elasticity. The procedure is also applied in tackling other problems, such as increased hair loss or baldness, enlarged skin pores treatment, allergic skin reactions (caused by use of medicine, sun, vitamin mesotherapy), and in decreasing other causes.
PRP rejuvenation procedure is recommended to be performed 3-4 times every 1-2 weeks. It can be repeated one year later.
During one week after the treatment, one should avoid professional facial scrub, laser, microdermabrasion, electrolysis or any other beauty procedures.
